A fabric steamer can gently heat up the film and loosen the adhesives. Using a hair dryer can also heat up the film to loosen the adhesives but it will take more time. Start on a corner and gently pull off the film working the steamer on the area that is being pulled off. If there is any remaining adhesive residue, it can be easily removed with water solution and window scraper.
